Dwight Stenseth is a senior brownfield real estate and financial management professional with over 35 years of experience in real estate financing, investment, redevelopment, liability assumption and asset management experience on all types of public and private real estate properties. His expertise includes acquisition structuring, financial modeling, risk management, liability assumption and redevelopment of real estate properties including environmentally impaired assets. His experience and expertise includes transaction structuring, financial modelling, liability assumption and asset divestiture transaction analysis, liability and asset quantification and asset reuse analysis.
Mr. Stenseth has invested over $500 million of equity on properties that have a total asset value in excess of $1.5 billion. He has directed the evaluation, acquisition and disposition of over $2 billion of real estate assets and other related investments. His responsibilities at RESIGHT include managing the day-to-day activities of all brownfield real estate investment and asset management, including new deal origination, underwriting, due diligence and value creation.
Mr. Stenseth was partner and managing director of a $2 billion international brownfield investment fund and redevelopment company responsible for the acquisition and redevelopment of brownfield sites across the U.S., Europe and Canada. While there, he has directed the evaluation and acquisition or disposition of over $1 billion of real estate assets and other related investments based on effective property proforma valuation. During his 12 years with Cherokee he was responsible for the investment and management of over $1 billion of real estate transactions throughout the United States and Canada. He is an expert in structuring transactions that simultaneously benefit sellers while providing benefits for investors and the community as well.
