Mikkel Anderson, as a Member of RESIGHT, owns and consults to other owners and public entities of brownfield real estate in the areas of environmental liability evaluation, reuse/remedy integration, infrastructure /remedy integration, decommissioning and demolition of industrial sites for reuse, risk analysis and management options, and regulatory strategies. His experience and expertise includes environmental liability assumption, risk management, asset divestiture transaction analysis, liability and asset quantification and asset reuse analysis.
Mr. Anderson has assisted clients in managing surplus and impaired real estate assets with combined liability, restructuring and disposition costs of over a billion dollars, a significant portion of which RESIGHT was contractually responsible for the outcome. As a founding member of RESIGHT, he has evaluated numerous real estate assets, crafting innovative and award winning solutions to complex redevelopment issues.
He possesses extensive experience in merger and acquisition due diligence support to industrial owners, providing opinions on valuation for over $500 million of environmental liabilities in support of real property transactions for municipalities, federal entities and private clients.
Prior to founding RESIGHT, Mr. Anderson had a career of over 20 years with national engineering consulting firms focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure development and hazardous waste management and remediation.
