Paul Weaverling – Vice President Environmental
Paul Weaverling is a senior environmental management professional with over 23 years of experience in risk management, liability assumption of environmentally impaired real estate assets, and remediation of complex remediation projects.
Mr. Weaverling has assisted public and private clients in managing impaired real estate assets with combined liability costs in excess of $250 million. His project-related experience encompasses the planning, implementation, and management of corrective action programs under CERCLA, RCRA, and various state voluntary cleanup programs. He has successfully built multidisciplinary teams to accomplish site characterizations, feasibility studies, and complex remediation projects. His technical expertise ranges from the characterization of environmentally-impaired sites, to managing the design and implementation of soil and groundwater remedies, to facilitating client and regulatory interaction. Mr. Weaverling has earned the trust and confidence of his peers and clients through his practical approaches to project management.
Since 2003, Mr. Weaverling has been working to successfully implement remediation projects on behalf of owners with a focus on quickly returning property to productive reuse. His capacity at RESIGHT has included evaluation of environmentally impaired properties as potential liability assumption targets for Brownfields Redevelopment, the development of remedial scopes and cost estimates to support site closure, client-regulatory interaction and coordination during project implementation, technical advisor for the implementation of soil and groundwater remediation projects, negotiation and interaction with city, state, and federal regulatory entities on behalf of remediation projects, the interaction and coordination with environmental insurance carriers during project implementation, and the oversight and coordination of contracting partners on remediation projects.
