Development Advances for 201 Munson Street Project in New Haven, CT
RESIGHT Holdings, LLC is pleased to announce that its brownfield project in New Haven, Connecticut is ready to proceed to the next development stage. RESIGHT has sold its interest in the land to a vertical development team headed by Hudson Meridian Construction Group and the Ironburgh Organization, a New York City development team.
In 2017, RESIGHT acquired the 13-acre parcel adjacent to the Science Park redevelopment, which had been part of the historic Winchester Rifle manufacturing complex. Teaming with Eclipse Development Group, RESIGHT worked with Connecticut environmental regulators, the City of New Haven and a team of brownfields experts to develop the needed environmental remedy plan and to reposition the property for residential development. Rezoning for an apartment community was approved by the New Haven Alders in 2018. RESIGHT participated in funding the demolition and site clearing, which are nearly complete. The remaining, limited environmental remedy will be completed as part of the new development.
